Nasal pillows are a compact and lightweight option for your patient with designs that allow minimal contact with their face. However there are some hybrid masks which rest under the nose and are a variation of a nasal combined with a nasal pillow mask. They work best with prescriptions of low-to moderate pressure settings, since airflow that is direct to the nostrils may be uncomfortable at high settings.
